Mark Litvine, Director of Marketing for R.O.S.S., represented R.O.S.S. At Governor Ivey’s Proclamation signing to recognize September as Recovery Month. R.O.S.S. was mentioned for our 2nd consecutive year in the Recovery Month Proclamation for all the peer support work we do to reach the people who fall through the cracks across Alabama! Thank you to Governor Ivey, Commissioner Kimberly Boswell and the Alabama Department of Mental Health for this great honor!
Our R.O.S.S. Marshal County Recovery Community Center Recovery On The Mountain in Boaz was a huge success for Recovery Month 2023!
Our R.O.S.S. Madison County Recovery Community Center and the City of Huntsville held our 2nd Annual Breaking Down Barriers event for Recovery Month 2023. We had amazing local resources. haircuts, std/sti testing, Naloxone, clothes, showers, food and assessments!

On Saturday September 3rd, 2022 R.O.S.S. Marshall County held our Recovery on the Mountain event in Boaz, Alabama to celebrate Recovery Month.
On Saturday September 10th, 2022 R.O.S.S. and our “Birmingham Loves Recovery Month” partners held a Rally for Recovery in Birmingham to celebrate Recovery Month.
On Saturday September 24th, 2022 R.O.S.S. and the City of Huntsville held a Breaking Down Barriers event at Max Luther Recreation Center in Huntsville, Alabama for Recovery Month.
On Thursday September 29th, 2022, Our R.O.S.S. Birmingham Recovery Community Center held our first ever Recovery Art Show to celebrate Recovery Month.
R.O.S.S. hosted and attended many more amazing Recovery Month events across Alabama throughout September!
